Our Live Sound training program provides the student with all the fundamental knowledge to setup and operate Live sound equipment.

Here the student learns all the basics of sound theory as well as practical hands on live sound mixing.

The student will learn to accurately identify problematic frequency ranges and apply the correct equalization solution. This training program is ideal for those wanting to work in the live sound industry and especially for those who work in the church setting up, operating and mixing sound.

Many church sound systems are not installed and configured correctly resulting in lots of feedback and bad sound for both the congregation and band members. Knowing how to choose the right sound equipment required by the church and use, operate the sound equipment properly can save the church a lot of very expensive repairs.

Each student receives a copy of our interactive Sound Book 1 that is packed with all the sound theory, videos lessons, unique graphics, animations, audio examples and our specialized frequency band recognition training, to help them understand what sound is all about.

Training Schedules

Training times are from 10 am to 4 pm Monday to Sunday.

Course Duration: 8 weeks (1 x 3 hour lesson per week)

Cost of training program: R2,400 (R1,200 per month x 2 months)

If the full amount is paid in advance we offer a 10% discount

Students are required to have their own laptops.

As all our training is individual, hands on, in-studio training all training dates and times must be booked and paid for in advanced.

Note:

If a student wishes to come see our facilities and/or speak to us, an appointment must be made first, this is for security reasons and also not to disrupt training sessions in progress.
